Patronage of an individual artist can afford you special benefits, the greatest of which is an almost unbearable amount of prestige. Julius had Michaelangelo, and then, he was a pope! (We’re almost certain it happened in that order).
Additionally, when you patronise an individual artist you attain benefits such as:
- Acknowledgement of your specialised patronage in public spaces such as programs, websites, lobby displays, and naturally, on the ceilings of big chapels.
- A chance to see your patronised artist’s work for free, depending on the magnitude of your generosity.
- An ongoing correspondence with your artist throughout the process of creating their artistic work.
- The chance to meet your artist after a performance of your choosing.
You can patronise specific artists, or specific avenues of pursuit within the production.
